Since 2021 PROMODEL FLOORING LLC has traded from 7059 Idlewild Avenue in Saint Louis. The space is an interactive gallery: finished assemblies you can walk and compare, not a counter of catalogs. Kitchens, commercial lobbies, and specialty rooms all come through the same door.
Buy materials if you already have a contractor, or hand the job to our certified crew — 3D model, survey, install, warranty. Saint Louis houses mix slab additions with old wood joists; that conversation belongs here, not after the boxes open.
Substrate survey
Moisture and flatness before the quote
A technician comes with a moisture meter and a straightedge. Concrete still drying or a wood subfloor that dips changes the assembly. We log the readings, then name a product, underlayment, and start date. Cupping and hollow spots almost always start in a substrate that was never measured.
- Moisture Humidity in concrete where it matters, and meter readings on wood, so the wear layer is not asked to hide a wet slab.
- Flatness Ridges and dips a vinyl plank will telegraph or a tile will bridge. Leveling is priced before anyone orders boxes.

Parquet, hardwood, laminate, LVT and SPC vinyl, carpet, and porcelain, plus underlayment, baseboards, and setting chemistry. Stock covers homes, shops, and specialty rooms — not one “good enough” aisle.

3D room modeling
Before you commit, we model the actual room: openings, daylight, and pattern direction, so a herringbone that looks calm on a board still looks calm on the wall.

On-site substrate survey
Moisture and flatness on the slab or wood subfloor, written into the quote. If the floor cannot go down this month, we price the prep instead of parking boxes in a garage.

Load-based specification
A bedroom, a restaurant pass, and a clinic corridor do not share a wear layer. Thickness, lock, and surface follow the traffic you described — carts, chairs, wet mopping — not that week’s promotion.

Certified installation
Our crew lays the floor we specified. The warranty covers the result. Thresholds, baseboards, and the last cut at the radiator are the same visit, not a second contractor.

Yes. 3D modeling of the actual space is part of the cycle — pattern, daylight, and how the plank or tile sits between your walls.
What do you check on the existing floor or slab?
Moisture and flatness, written into the quote. If the slab is wet or the wood dips, we price prep first.
Do you carry commercial and specialty floors?
Yes — vinyl and porcelain for wet or cart traffic, carpet for quiet offices, hardwood where the room can take it.
Do I need an appointment?
